On A Who?

My next review is on a local Oklahoma City Boutique that has been here since 1998 and I believe that's 14 years too long.  I know you're dying to know which one I'm talking about.  Here's a few clues:

- Moved to Classen Curve
- Pretentious Employees
- Embarrassingly bad customer service

If you guessed On A Whim then you are right!

Besides their designer products they carry I can't quit thinking of all the dreadful things about them.  I understand having a bad day, I'm sure we can all relate.  This store isn't having a bad day, they are hiring bad employees with terrible disposition.  My story isn't based off of my personal nose-in-the-air situations with On A Whim, but a shocking inexcusable circumstance on how a dear family's grandmother was treated.

One cold day a young lady and her grandmother were shopping at On A Whim, frequent customers might I add.  Regardless of frequency this story is appalling.  As their shopping trip was coming to an end at On A Whim, the grandmother needed to use the restroom and with her bladder condition it was as urgent as it could get.  They placed their hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise on the counter while politely asking the On A Whim employee where the restroom was. They were returned with the response that On A Whim doesn't provide a public restroom.  It was brought to the staff's attention how urgent this situation was and they more or less gave the cold shoulder along with the haste explanation that these loyal customers could simply take a hike to another store in the shopping center.

My blood is boiling just thinking about it again.  I'm not going to elaborate on specific points of my frustration and dissect all the wrong this visit entailed.  I'm simply going to return the favor to them--nose up, discontinue business with them and make it publicly known how horrendous their staff is.  If you are so in love with their products that you don't know how you'll survive without them, let me know and I'll personally direct you to other locations to make your purchases.  And you know how I love deals, I'm sure to find you something better elsewhere. Perhaps Balliet's where you can shop, have a beverage, use the restroom and be catered to like a customer should.
